So my fiance surprised me by taking me to see a play. He told me we were going to see a movie, that I had been bugging him about for weeks. At the end of the night he asked me how I rated this birthday compared to last year. I said it was a 5. WHich was trobling becuase he always tells me I will get better not worst. The year before my bitrthday was a 10. The next day his family and I joined him at church. During the service the preacher allowed peope to give father's day tributes. Carl went up to the front and asked his dad to stand. he gave him such great acculades. Then he said I have one more story. When I was 16 I remember crying, praying to God to send me a woman to love, and a woman to love me. A year ago I met that woman in a dance class at college. Everytime I saw her my heart started beating. I was stunned by her beauty. It took me two weeks to ask her out, he said. One day I overheard her say she didn't go out for Valentine's Day. So I knew that was my cue. I approached her after everyone left the class. We talked for two hours. I fell in love with her right then. She is here today. He asked me to stand. I was shocked, mostly because I didn't know why he was making a tribute to me on Father's day. Just when I was about to sit down he asked me to join him up front. I slowly walked to up to the front. When I reached him, he took a ring box from behind the preacher's stand, got down on one knee and said I love you will you be my today, my tomorrow, my everything forever. I could not stop crying and shaking. I was so surpised. I never thought that he would do that. At the end after I said yes. He said now that is your real birthday present. He asked me how did I rate that I said baby it's off the scale.
